Siri's father committed suicide when the crop on his farm failed. Siri's mother sold her so that the rest of her family could survive. In the rock quarry, she experienced unimaginable horrors from sexual abuse to being stung by a scorpion. After about a year, she was rescued by our team and came to live at The Sylom Children's Home.
Today, Siri is 10 years old, and she is in the 5th grade. She wants to become a police officer and help children.
When you sponsor Siri, you take care of her needs for food and education. You'll get updates from time to time about how you've made a difference and learn about the significant things happening in her life.
When you do what you can For One, you help end child slavery for good.
Dozens of other children are waiting to be connected with a sponsor. See their stories.
