Puja's father took her to a child trafficker, and he sold her for an insignificant sum. The trafficker sedated Puja with an injection, and when she awoke she was with people she'd never seen before. They told her she had been sold to them, and she now had to work or be killed. The conditions were impossible to bear. She couldn't imagine how the older women in the quarry had survived. A local rescue team of Christians took 4 children from the quarry at night and brought them to our partners. Puja was one of these children.

Today, Puja attends school for the first time and has caught up to the 9th grade. Her favorite class is biology. She wants to be a doctor and care for the sick. She loves playing games with her friends at The Sylom Children's Home. She is so grateful that she to know the God who rescues.

When you sponsor Puja, you take care of her needs for food and education. You'll get updates from time to time about how you've made a difference and learn about the significant things happening in her life.

When you do what you can For One, you help end child slavery for good.

Dozens of other children are waiting to be connected with a sponsor. See their stories.
