When Linga's parents died her uncle took her and her younger brother into their house, but her aunt believed Linga and her brother were going to bankrupt their poor family. So Linga and her brother were sold to a rock quarry. In the rock quarry, they slept on the cold, bare rock among scorpions and venomous snakes. She tried to escape and she was severely punished.

A group of local anti-traffickers rescued Linga and her brother during a daring nighttime raid on the rock quarry. They eventually brought them to The CFC Children's Home. Today, Linga loves her classes and she hopes to become a teacher. She loves books & newspapers as a source of information about the world she wants to teach others about.

When you sponsor Linga, you take care of her needs for food and education. You'll get updates from time to time about how you've made a difference and learn about the significant things happening in her life.

When you do what you can For One, you help end child slavery for good.

Dozens of other children are waiting to be connected with a sponsor. See their stories.
