Kavi's father forced her mother to prostitute herself to earn money for the family. Her mother was eventually arrested and sent to jail. During that time, her father's income suffered, and he chose to sell his children to a rock quarry while in a drunken stupor. Kavi and her siblings were sent to a quarry where they worked incredibly hard and in terrible conditions.
In 2019, she was rescued and brought to live at The Sylom Children's Home. Today, she has returned to school, and she loves science. She hopes to grow up and have some kind of job in a scientific field. Kavi is grateful to be loved and cared for by the women who live and work in the home.
