Faced with losing her own life, Hannah's illiterate, teenage mother sold her to a rock quarry to settle her father's drinking and gambling debts. Hannah was just 5 years old, but she worked like a grown up from sunrise to sunset breaking stones into gravel and carrying water for other workers. She was rescued in 2019, and brought to live at The Sylom Children's Home.
Today, Hannah is in 4th grade, and she cherishes every book she can get her hands on. She loves her native language class, Telugu, and she hopes to study medicine when she finishes school.
When you sponsor Hannah, you take care of her needs for food and education. You'll get updates from time to time about how you've made a difference and learn about the significant things happening in her life.
