Arelli's family lost everything in a flood, and soon after, her parents were approached by a human trafficker pretending to work for a rock quarry. Arelli's parents were tricked into sending her with the man, and he, in turn, sold her to a rock quarry. For years, she performed back-breaking tasks in the quarry in the scorching heat.
Eventually, Arelli was found by one of our search and rescue teams, and she and the other children were taken out of the quarry. Arelli came to live at The CFC Children's Home and started attending school. Today, she is 11 years old, and she is in the 4th grade. Her favorite subject is math, and she wants to become a teacher.
When you sponsor Arelli, you take care of her needs for food and education. You'll get updates from time to time about how you've made a difference and learn about the significant things happening in her life.
