Unable and unwilling to care for his children after his wife ran away, Abhi's father sold his 3 boys to a human trafficker who in turn sold the boys to a rock quarry. In the quarry, the young boys stuck together to keep each other safe from the abuse of older workers. After almost a year in the quarry, a group of pastors came and rescued 22 children altogether.

Now, all three brothers, Abhi, Teja, and Sandeep, are thriving in school. Abhi hopes to become a police officer. He loves his English class where he reads old newspapers and learns about the India and the rest of the world.

When you sponsor Abhi, you take care of his needs for food and education. You'll get updates from time to time about how you've made a difference and learn about the significant things happening in his life.

When you do what you can For One, you help end child slavery for good.

Dozens of other children are waiting to be connected with a sponsor. See their stories.
