Suzie and her younger sisters went to live with their uncle after their parents died of Dengue Fever. Her uncle, tired of the added expense, sold Suzie to the rock quarry, but kept her sisters to clean his house. Life in the quarry was a living nightmare, but she survived despite the horrors. In 2020, a CFC field team rescued Suzie and other girls, and they came to live at The Sylom Children's Home.
Today, Suzie is 10 years old, and she is in the fifth grade. She wants to teach in rural schools for girls.
When you sponsor Suzie, you take care of her needs for food and education. You'll get updates from time to time about how you've made a difference and learn about the significant things happening in her life.
