A tornado destroyed Faith's rural village, and her family's hut and their possessions were lost. Human traffickers quickly descended on the village and started offering people jobs with ready cash. Faith's parents sent her to work in the quarry because they had no way to take care of her if she had stayed with them.

However, the food available to Faith in the rock quarry was quite limited, and she struggled to survive on her one daily meal of rice. The supervisors were cruel and forced even the children to work from before sunrise to sundown. Faith's existence was an endless horrible drudgery that only consisted of breaking rocks and loading them into trucks.

After about a year, Faith was rescued and brought to live at The CFC Children's Home. Today, she attends the 3rd grade, and her favorite class is science. She hopes to become a doctor. Faith constantly reads books beyond the scope of children her age.

When you sponsor Faith, you take care of her needs for food and education. You'll get updates from time to time about how you've made a difference and learn about the significant things happening in her life.

When you do what you can For One, you help end child slavery for good.

Dozens of other children are waiting to be connected with a sponsor. See their stories.
