Anu's parents were both alcoholics and to feed their habit they sold both of their daughters to a human trafficker who sent the girls to work in a rock quarry. In the rock quarry, Anu and her older sister, Nava, saw people die from snake bites. The girls were rescued at night by a local magistrate. That leader brought the girls to live at The Sylom Children's Home.

For the first time, Anu and Nava both had enough to eat and felt truly safe. They made friends and started going to school. In school, they have started to learn about the love of God and about His world. These sisters, even at a young age, want to devote themselves to teaching others about God's Kingdom and His Love.

When you sponsor Anu, you take care of her needs for food and education. You'll get updates from time to time about how you've made a difference and learn about the significant things happening in her life.

When you do what you can For One, you help end child slavery for good.

Dozens of other children are waiting to be connected with a sponsor. See their stories.
