After Sashank's father died from kidney failure, his uncle sold him to a rock quarry rather than taking care of him. In the quarry, he was beaten for not working fast enough and regularly had severe bruising on his back and face.

One night in 2018, a group of pastors cut the electric wire around the quarry and slipped in to rescue children. Sashank was taken out of the quarry and brought to the Sylom Children's Home where he has begun to lead a life a boy should have. He loves school, especially science, and someday he has hopes of becoming a doctor.

When you sponsor Sashank, you take care of his needs for food and education. You'll get updates from time to time about how you've made a difference and learn about the significant things happening in his life.

When you do what you can For One, you help end child slavery for good.

Dozens of other children are waiting to be connected with a sponsor. See their stories.
